He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Marion and Betty Lou Shook (Kestner). He is survived by: his wife Christina Simpson; his children, Stephanie Shook of Mt. Zion and Nicholas Shook of Cerro Gordo; and his sisters, Marilyn Snoke and Carolyn Peters.
