Rosalie Stokes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Stokes of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Vandeveer and Ada Vandeveer (Oliver); her husband Leonard Stokes; her sister Evelyn Iler; her son Dennis Lee Stokes; and her grandson Joseph Aaron Stokes.
She is survived by: her children, Kelley Ann Stokes of Centralia and Todd Stokes (Mariann) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Shawn (Janet), Jeremy, Jason, Amanda, Dollie, Maegen, Nicole (Alex), Michael (Dawn), Wyatt, Chelcie and Chad; her great grandchildren, Gregory, Brook, Avery, Donovan, Trinity, Devon, Christopher, Bailey, Kaitlyn, Chloe and Cyrus; her great great grandchildren, Kymbree, Elliott, Camydan, Hudson, Skylynn, Phoenix and Deacon; and her siblings, Gary John Johnson (Marie) of Millry, Tracy Roger Vandeveer (Mary) of Missouri, Robert Stanley Duncan of Millstadt, Mark William Vandeveer (Teri) of Florissant, Missouri and Claudia Lowery (Ray Plaster) of O'Fallon, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rosalie's honor to the Family's Wishes and will be accepted for the family at the funeral home.
