He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wayant and Grace Tate (Carpenter); and his stepfather Alden "Audie" Tate (Jean Tomaszewski). He is survived by: his children, Holly Miller (Brian) of Centralia, Tara Landwehr (David) of Wentzville and William Warren Wessling of Yelm; his grandchildren, Trevor James, Alea, Kali Landwehr and Brynn Miller; and his siblings, Thomas "Tom" Wayant (Annette) of Columbus, IN, Steven Tate of Central City and Kim Majors (Tate) of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
