Opal Meier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2022, at the age of 86, Opal Meier of Centralia, Illinois, born in Knowles, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Meier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Moore and Pauline Moore (Easton); and her brother-in-law Gene Hill. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Meier; her son Dale Meier of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jessica Meier Hanks (Chris) of New Town, Jan Dalton (Robbie) of Centralia, Jared Meier (Becky) of Highland and Jamie Meier of Centralia; her great grandchildren, Abbigail of Centralia, Meadow of Centralia, Amiyah of Centralia, Ezrah of Centralia, Delylah of Centralia, Olivia of Highland and Ronan of Highland; and her siblings, Roger Moore (Dena) of Manchester, Tennessee and Linda Hill of Hoffman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hoffman Fire Department and/or the Relay for Life Clinton County and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Meier Family.
