He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Thomas M. Richards, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Richards (Will); his wife Darlene Richards (Evitts); his brothers, William Edward Richards and Thomas Monroe Richards, III; and his nephew Allen Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Miller (Brian) and Holly Davis (Andy); his grandchildren, Madison Miller of Centralia, Riley Miller of Centralia and Grant Davis of Centralia; and his siblings, Linda Daughtery (Mick) of Dahlgren, IL, James Richards (Joann) of Goreville, IL, Tonia Davis (Jeff) and Lisa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many cousins.
