With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Ainscough of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Ainscough to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter W. Tabor and Zada Tabor (Mandrell); her husband Vaden E. Ainscough, Sr.; her siblings, Walter E. Tabor, Imogene Douglas, Kathleen Arrowsmith and Helen Patton; and her great great grandchild Henry Havelka.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Finley (Sam) of Potosi, MO and Vaden Ainscough, Jr. (Brenda) of Centralia; her grandchildren, Cary Crabb of Owensville, MO, Kimberly Ragland of Sesser, Brian Hays of Sandoval, Lisa Oller of Mt. Vernon and Jonathan Ainscough of Decatur; and her close friend Tom Russell of Centralia. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

In memory of Mary, memorial donations may be made to Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia, and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Ainscough family.
