Lavern Sloat Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2022, at the age of 81, Lavern Sloat of Centralia, Illinois, born in Qulin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel E. Morgan and Ruth Morgan (Tucker); her spouse Jackey "Jack" Sloat; her daughter Cynthia Lynn Sloat; her great grandchild Maverick Michael Ray Pratt; and her brother James Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Sloat (Marilyn) of Centralia and Tamara Cox (Brian Mosby) of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jill Michalek (Todd) of Texas, Mark Redfern of Illinois, Keith Luttrell (Chasity) of Tennessee, Kelly Reed (Raven) of Junction City, Tony Ray Sloat, Jr. (Candace) of Centralia, Mandy Fehland (Matt) of Wisconsin, Misty Schaeffer (Todd) of Irvington and Christopher Pratt (Brianna) of Indiana; her siblings, Connie Gramlick (Dean) of Dexter, Missouri and Glenn Morgan of St. Louis, Missouri; and her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Sloat (Lorene) of Centralia and Larry Sloat of Centralia. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
