She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy James and Mildred James (Hoeinghaus); and her daughter Laura A. Sample. She is survived by: her husband David A. Sample; her children, Ronald Sample (Tara) of Aviston and Julie Wilson (Jeff) of Colleyville, TX; her grandchildren, Katie Sample, Hunter Sample and Justin Sample of Aviston; and her siblings, Janice Ring of Centralia, Larry James (Vickey) of Centralia and Thomas James (Michelle) of Centralia. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In memory of Joyce, donations may be made for her grandkids college fund, First General Baptist Church of Centralia, or First Baptist Church of Carlyle and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Joyce's family.
