He was predeceased by: his father James Ford; his brother John Ford; his parents-in-law, Harry and Angie Arhelger; and his nephew James Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Arhelger); his children, Deborah Huber (Christopher) of Port Barrington, Illinois, Steven Ford (Julie) of Chandler and Richard Ford (Rachel) of Metamora, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tyler Sulcer (Kyla) of O'Fallon, Brooke Sulcer of St. Louis, Mason, Grant Ford of Chandler, Mady and Sophie Ford of Metamora; his stepgranddaughter Abigail Huber of St. Louis, Missouri; and his siblings, Robert Ford (Ann) of Eads and Susan Lester (Bob) of Reno.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the donor's choice of either St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, American Heart Association, or the Centralia High School Athletic Association and will be accepted by Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Ford Family.
