James Berry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Berry of Centralia, Illinois, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Francis and Rose Marie Berry (Zatavesky); his wife Judy Kay Wilkinson; his siblings, Gordon "Huck" Berry and Rosemarie "Ree" Kalpokas; his sister-in-law Marilyn Wilkinson; his son-in-law Otis Garrison; and his nephews, Mark and Eric Berry.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Garrison of Centralia, Michelle Pennington (Wilfred) of Centralia, Matt Berry (Michelle) of Charleston and Christopher Berry (Heidi) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Arianne Courtney of Centralia, Kirstin Grimes (Mark) of Centralia, Kaylin Courtney (Carter Wynne) of Centralia, Carly Garrison of Centralia and Trecie Pennington of Centralia; his great grandchildren, Illiana "Lilly" Grimes and Kyden Garrison of Centralia; his brother Harold Berry of New Jersey; and his friends, Nancy and Dale Spitler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and Centralia VFW Post 2055 and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Berry Family.
