It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen J Hensley of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen J Hensley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floy E. Ekin and Imo K. Ekin (Bayles); her husband Howard "Clif" Hensley; her siblings, Bob Ekin, Donnie Ekin, Johnny Ekin, Millard Ekin, Ray Ekin, Floy Ekin, Ronnie Ekin and Katherine Turnbull; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Hensley, John Hensley, Wilton Moore, Emmitt Vincent, Rudy Welker, Mary Lou Hensley, Anne Vincent (Moore), Ruth Welker, Hazel Hensley and Peggy Hensley.

She is survived by: her children, Craig Hensley (Tammy) of Centralia and Diane Barnes (Jim) of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jim Barnes (Katie) of Wentzville, MO, Jennifer Harnish (Marvin) of Centralia, Bridget Guy (Danny) of Centralia, Amy Hensley of Centralia and Heather Schossler (Tom) of Centralia; her great grandchildren, Makaela Barnes of Wentzville, MO, Liam Barnes of Wentzville, MO, Peyton Guy of Centralia, Olivia Downes of Centralia, Cooper Harnish of Centralia, Fred Secrest of Centralia, Sydnee of Centralia, Larissa of Centralia, Chance Hensley of Centralia, Sophia of Centralia, Carter of Centralia and Emory Schossler of Centralia; her siblings-in-law, Tony Hensley (Shirley) of Benton, MO, Becky Moore (Roy) of Benton, MO, Dreama, Erma Ekin of Moline and Rita Ekin of Florida; and her caregiver Michelle Rapp of Centralia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
