It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Rowlett of Centralia, Illinois, born in Robinson, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wade Norman Rowlett; her parent Arch Hall; her son-in-law Richard "Turk" Smith; and her siblings, Bill Hall (Nina), Jim Hall, Lois Froelke (William), Esther Anglen and Jane Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Robbins (Charlie) of Centralia and Cindy Queen (Dale) of Centralia, Illinois; her grandchildren, Katie Queen (Brent Bales), Courtney Queen (Casey Watt), Brysen Griffith and Eric Queen (Brooke); and her great grandchildren, Cohen Bales, Bennett Bales and Briar Bales. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many good friends.
The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Rowlett's memory to Wamac City Park or American Red Cross and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
