Elba M Schroeder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elba M Schroeder of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fowler, Sr. and Roberta Helen Fowler Garren (Barbee); her siblings, Leo Fowler, Jr., Helen Donoho, JoAnn Gandy and Barbara Henke; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Mayoral, Don Donoho and Jim Funkhouser.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Schroeder of Centralia; her daughter Brooke Cheney (Chris) of Hopewell, Virginia; her grandson Michael Cheney of Hopewell, Virginia; and her sisters, Betty Mayoral of Centralia, Donna Shaw (Mike) of Mission Viejo, Sue Montoya (Manny) of Austin and Lenora Funkhouser of Madisonville, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the College Fund for her grandson, Michael Cheney, and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Schroeder Family.
