He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Alfred Sr. and Grace Jeter (Tucker); and his siblings, Herman Jeter, George Tucker, Lee Jeter, Hazel Whitelow, Lottie Mae Jeter, Bernice Wright, Mattie Daniels, Catherine Jeter and Lily Jeter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Juanita Buntyn (William) of Killeen and Mildred Montgomery of Evanston, Illinois; his niece Tina Perkins; his nephew Tyrone; and his friend Phillip "Footie" Offutt.
