It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Swain of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary McDonal (Williams) of Centralia; her husband Kenneth Swain; her father Henry McDonal; her daughter Cecile Vaughn (Gerald); her granddaughter Shirleen Vaughn; and her siblings, Neal McDonal, Dexter McDonal, Kenneth McDonal, Bert McDonal, Bessie Anderson and Cecile McDonal.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scot, Bonnie Vaughn of Maryland Heights and Cherie Vaughn of Maryland Heights, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Megan Vaughn of St. Charles and Morgan Vaughn of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and her nieces and nephews, Jana, Mike Ussrey, Chico, Pam McDonal, Gary, Dorcas McDonal, Jeff and Chris McDonal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Eileen's honor to the Centralia First Baptist Church or Zion Hill Cemetery.
