He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanchard Martin and Christina Martin (Niepoetter); his sister Catherine Seats; his stepsons, Dennis Eller and Kerry Eller; and his stepgrandson Brannon Eller.

He is survived by: his wife Leona Martin; his daughters, Ruth Ann Mashburn (Ron Walker) of Centralia, Toni Sharp (Frank) of Patoka and Jennifer Newman of Alma; his stepchildren, Brian Eller of Centralia, Darrell Eller (Debbie) of Delaware and Cheryl Eller of Central City; his stepdaughters-in-law, Lola Eller of Glenridge and Kathleen Eller of Patoka; and his siblings, Ruby Miller of Centralia, Mildred Fechtler of Henderson, Nevada and Henry Martin of Sandoval. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren.
