It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arline Ruth Geary of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floid I. Heyduck and Hazel W. Heyduck (Mathis); her husband Donald Glenn Geary; her son D. Bruce Geary; her grandson Christopher Geary; her children-in-law, Don Mallinson and Janice Geary; her siblings, Maurice Heyduck, Dean Heyduck, Charles O. Heyduck, William R. Heyduck and Wahneta Shaw; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Shaw and Margaret Heyduck.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Siegmund (Frederick) of Centralia, Janet Mallinson of Washington and Ruth Chandler (Steve) of Phoenix, Arizona; her grandchildren, Donald Lee Mallinson (Sheila), Kenneth Mallinson (Jodie), Andrew Siegmund (Sara), Emily Heinzmann (Kevin), Rachel Ryan Mosby, Olivia Murphy (Matthew), Matthew Geary and Jennifer Jarvis (Robert); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Heyduck of Bedford and Marjorie Heyduck of Paducah, Kentucky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As a result of Covid and inclement weather, a Private Family Service for Mrs. Arline Ruth "Penny" Geary will be held at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois, with Reverend Paula Comper officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Geary's honor to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
