It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Gillett of Carthage, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gillett and Pat Gillett (Hartnett); his sister Barbara Walker (Ronnie); and his nephews, Chris and Kelly Carey.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Jean Wagoner; his wife Jean; his children, Lori Gronewold (Andy) of Carthage and Mike Gillett (Emily) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Brody of Carthage, Brandon Gronewold of Carthage, Sam of Carthage, Ellie of Carthage and Claire Gillett of Carthage; and his brother Jim Gillett (Mary) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma..
