She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hale and Ruby Maxine Hale (Copeland); and her husband John Trone. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Shaw (Rick) of Warsaw, Jackie Marshall (Steve) of Hamilton, Susan Climer (Jeff) of Carthage, Carla Settles (Ryan) of Bowen and Nancy Heinecke (Dennis) of Carthage; her stepdaughters, Marilyn Thompson (Jerry) of Carthage and Peggy Azinger (Damon) of Keokuk; and her brother Orville Hale (Evelyn) of Nauvoo. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren.
