She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McBride and Mildred McBride (Byers); her husband Carl A. Wilkens; and her siblings, Mary Piette (James), Theresa Dye and Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Wilkens of Nauvoo and Carla Roberts (Terry) of Shawnee, Kansas; her granddaughter Dr. Kara Wilkens; her stepgranddaughters, Deborah Webber (Keith) and Michelle Lucero (Michael); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Colin, Emma Webber and Adam Lucero; and her sister Ruth Buckert of Hamilton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Fellowship Hall Fund or Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Nauvoo.
