He was predeceased by: his parents, Phines Brown and Lela Mae Murphy (Seigfried); his sister Barbara Rohlf; and his son-in-law Robert Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Patt" Bettisworth of Carthage; his daughters, Patrice Squier (Bob Osborne) of Carthage, Paula Williams (Rusty) of Quincy, Tami Servis (Jim) of Winter Park, Julie Phillips of Carthage, Kimberly McComb (Walt) of New Smyrna Beach and Dixie Patton (Chris) of Boiling Springs; and his siblings, Ray Murphy of Florida, Karen Murphy of Carthage and Donna Ganion of Kansas City, Missouri.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
