Harold Hitz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2020, at the age of 95, Harold Hitz of Carthage, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hitz and Maude Hitz (Badger); his wife Jean Burford; his son Jerry; his wife Mary Ellen; his granddaughter Emily Miller; his son-in-law Russ Foley; and his sister Imogene Ausec.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Hitz (Arlynn) of Dallas City, Pam Miller (Eric) of Plymouth and Judy Foley of Jacksonville, Illinois; and his brother Junior Hitz (Pat) of Carthage. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Vincent's Home in Quincy for their van fund.
