Arlene Lantz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Lantz of Carthage, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Beeler and Edna Beeler (Wollbrink); her husbands, Elbert Covert and Lester Lantz; her siblings, Elma Seals, Leo, John and Glen Beeler; her sons-in-law, Larry Myers and Junior Banks; and her stepson-in-law David Kreider.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Myers of Galesburg, Virgene Banks of Quincy and Darrell Covert (Julie) of Plymouth; her stepdaughters, Ilene Kreider of Palmyra and Margaret Winters (Jerry) of Colchester; her sister-in-law June Beeler of Sutter; her grandchildren, Eric Myers (Alison), Alison Darst (Steve), Jason Banks (Kim), Jamie Banks, April Thomas, Gabriel Covert (Patty) and Heather Uppinghouse (Will); and her stepgrandchildren, Steve Kreider, Pam Artman (Scott), Megan Brown (Cody) and Penny Wilson (James). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; ten step-great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Carthage or Blessing Hospice.
