She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Porter and Betty Irvin Porter; and her cousin Susan Schwarten. She is survived by: her spouse Jurgen Suhr; her daughter Kori Kobel (Chris); her grandchildren, Katie Kobel of Bloomington and Ben Kobel of Bloomington; her sister Barb Schlosser (Ike) of Grand Forks, ND; her sister-in-law Ann Suhr; her nieces and nephews, Gabi Sparacio, Scott Suhr, Colleen Kersten and Tom Clifford; and her cousins, Philip Porter (Cindy), Carol Hupp (Tom), Tom Porter (Deborah) and Mari Porter.
For those wishing to make a memorial donation the family suggests giving to the Charles and Betty Porter Scholarship for Leadership at Illinois State University, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
