He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Borger, and Patricia Borger, Sr. (Montgomery); his brother Steve Borger; and his uncle Bill Borger. He is survived by: his wife Sabra Hayward of Carbondale; his son Matthew Borger of Carbondale; and his brother David Borger (Karen) of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
