He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Enna (McCullough) and Maurice Barton Gooch; and his siblings, June Sheraden, Richard and Robert Gooch.
He is survived by: his wife Lou (Stewart); his children, Marty Gooch (Sheila), Patti Berry, Kathy Nuttall (Jeff) and Dena Ashenbremer (Scott); his grandchildren, Mark Berry (Tina), Kristin McClaine (Jordon), Kayla Aitken (John), Alex (Rylie), Carter Nuttall (Kylie), Ashley (Michael), Philip and Emily Ashenbremer; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Mailee, Braelyn, Nolan, Parker, Tyson, Aubrey, Rayne, Tanner and Myles; and his sister Joyce Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Murdale Baptist Church or Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the church.
