He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight "Curly" and Rosalie Strode (Black). He is survived by: his children, Erica McCombs (Jim) and Brian Strode (Sarah) of Canton; his brother Rusty Strode (Theresa) of Lewistown; and also, Nick McCombs, Elaina McCombs, Natalie Strode, Payton Strode, Gabby Rose and Kelsie Grace. He is also survived by his parents, and one nephew.
