It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mart Tatum of Canton, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mart Tatum to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver Tatum (Bill) and Nina Mae Tatum (Day). He is survived by: his close friend Marie Elizabeth Stephens; his children, Mart Eldon Tatum, Jr. and Connie Beth Tatum; his siblings-in-law, Roby Manuel Stephens (Charlene Unita Busby) of Doniphan, Oval Devond Stephens (Dolores Arlene Heiniger) of Morton, Illinois, Annie Sue Stephens of Hillsboro and Vollie Jewel Stephens (Charles Luther Hays) of Silva; and his spouse Eternal Companion. He is also survived by 16 nieces & nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside dedication service will be held with Bishop Marty Jarnagin of the Morton Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, presiding.
