He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Manning; his daughters, Linda Chouinard and Cynthia Pennington; his parents, Edward and Bertha; and his brothers, Edward, James and John Manning.

He is survived by: his children, Diana Probert (Ed) of Cahokia, IL, Deborah Tankersley (Terry) of Dupo, IL, Patricia Whaley (Larry) of Columbia, IL, Donna Riefer (Robert) of Waterloo, IL, Thomas Manning, Jr. (Debbie) of Bonne Terre, MO, Sharon Latimer (Rusty) of Dupo, IL, Bruce Manning (Micki) of Waterloo, IL and Gerald Manning (Jodi) of Rockford, IL; and his siblings, Joseph Manning (Ruby) of River Rouge, MI, Patrick Manning (Shirley) of Alton, IL and Ann Shannon of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
