He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Melendez (Terrance Dunlap) of Cahokia, IL, Linda Leonard (Andrew Warden) of Bay Shore, NY and Victoria Sosa of Amsterdam, NY; his brother Carlos "Charlie" Melendez of Germany; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Timothy, Tiffany, Madalynn, Madison, Janessa, A'niyah, Kyvon, Nariyah, Briana and Javon.
