He is survived by: his wife Frances Payne Pullen; his children, Jahmal Pullen (Angela) of Raleigh, NC and Janelle McNeal (Corey) of Lexington, KY.; his grandsons, Mitchell and Winston McNeal of Lexington, KY.; and his sister Diane Payne (Gary) of Lexington, KY.
