He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Gurgel; his children, Heather Carlile (David), Tiffany Gurgel and Jonathan Gurgel (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary Carlile, Jackson and Jakob Gurgel; and his siblings, Lenore McCauley (late Tom), Melvin Gurgel (MaryLou), Adele Heuser (late Ted) and Elaine Steinhaus, Sr. (Alfred). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Norman will Lie in State on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church, 204 S. Grant St., Hinsdale, IL 60521 from 9 A. M. to time of Service 11 A. M. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
