She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio M Banda; her sons, Raymundo Banda (Angela) and Rodolfo Banda; and her siblings, Macrina Martinez and Maria Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Juan M Banda (late Graciela), Gloria Galvan (Gustavo), Lupe Sanchez (late Francisco), Carmen Arteaga (Jorge), Rosario Gutierrez (Jose) and Tony Banda (Pam).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mercedes' honor to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
