It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Wilson of Braidwood, Illinois, born in Wilmington, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur J. Heck and Alpha Heck (Sitter); her son Orman Heafner; and her siblings, Anna Heck and John Heck.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Wilson of Braidwood; her children, Tina Hendrex of Coal City, Terry Champion (late Gerald) of Paducah, KY, Duane Hendrex of Braidwood and Bryan Hendrex (Lori) of Morris; her grandchildren, Lee Heafner, Stacy Burt, Michael Esparza, Jeremy Esparza, Nathan Esparza, Renae Champion Mariner and Brandon Hendrex; her siblings, Arthur Heck (Carol) of Lafayette, IN, Larry Heck of Wilmington, Mary Ruth Bullock (late Charles "Bud") of Wilmington, Betty Marlene Akins (late Herbert) of Wilmington and Joanna Schwartz (Glen) of Hiawatha, IA; and her sister-in-law Sandy Heck of Joliet. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
