He was predeceased by: his father James DeWitt Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Monica, Alicia and Anita; his adoptive son Marlon; his siblings, Wanda, James and Michael; and his mother Jeweline. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
