She was predeceased by: her parents, John Messmore and Dora Keown Messmore; her grandson Stephen; and her siblings, Jim, Dennis Messmore and Diane Messmore.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Steele of Bloomington; her daughters, Sara Salinas (Paul) of Warrenton, VA and Joy Wenslauskis (Joe) of Heyworth, IL.; her grandchildren, Dillon, Lucas, Andrew, Wyatt, Collin, Dawson, Samuel, Ean and Cadence; and her siblings, Patsy Croy, Lynn Messmore, Darrel Messmore, Carol Moore, Teresa Winget, Chris Blair and Rita Messmore.
