With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald James Whalen (Bloomington, Illinois), who passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy Whalen (Miller); his daughter Lori; and his daughter-in-law Donna Jo. He is survived by: his sons, James (Mandie), John, Tom of Ocean Springs, MS, Dan (Mary Ellen) and Ron Jr. (Debbie) of Lake Mary, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the Family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in his memory.
