Richard Sleevar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2023, at the age of 74, Richard Sleevar of Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Sleevar and Irene Sleevar (Blair); and his siblings, Anthony and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sleevar of Bloomington; his children, Tim Sleevar (Michelle) of Bloomington, Erik Sleevar (Lisa) of Bloomington and Karen Roesch (Thadd) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Savvy Sleevar, Nick Sleevar and Presley Sleevar; and his siblings, Chuck Sleevar (Paula) of Le Roy, Laura Underhile of Dixon and Angie Milewski of Bloomington.
Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bloomington immediately following the Mass.
In memory of Dick's pride in his grandchildren's musical talent, memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomington Public School's Band Foundation in their honor (1202 East Locust Street, Bloomington, Illinois 61701).
