He was predeceased by: his parents, Luster Wright and Rutha Mae Wright (Smith); his brother Edward "Tootsie" Wright (late Zella); and his former wife Beverly Dianne Wright. He is survived by: his child Chantel Curtis; his wife Valerie Marie Wright; his children, Chantell Curtis, Melodie Webb (Hezekiah), Tommy Foster, Jeremy Foster, Matthew Wright and Christian Wright; his siblings, Naomi Thompson (late Clifford), Audrey McAfee, Bob Wright (late Edna), Roby Wright (Bessie), Darnell Wright (Vivian) and Archie Wright (Bridget); his grandchildren, Tayla Curtis, Jordan Curtis, Jayden Curtis and Braxton Foster; and his aunts, Brunette Wright and Edith Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Kappa Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
