Merckx; his sons, Jonathan "Jon" Stump (Cathryn), Morton and Jeremy Stump (Dawn) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Anna, Jack, Henry, Ethan and Abbey Stump; and his daughter Cynthia Kay Stump. He was also cherished by one sister.
