She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Hohimer and T. Elma Athey Hohimer; her stepfather Donald Niepagen; her siblings, Billy Hohimer, Arlene Williams and Dolores Sturm; her grandson Jimmy Byrne; and her great grandchildren, Trista Soberalski and Nicholas Anthony Byrne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Schwarzentruber, Jackie Soberalski (Mike), Sherry Wirtz and Kathi Byrne; and her brother Frank Niepagen (Kathy). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grand children, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Gentiva Hospice Care or OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois.
