He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hany and Paul Hany Jr.; and his great grandchild Jonah Maubach. He is survived by: his wife Jean Lindberg; his brother Wilbur (Carol); his children, Darryl Hany (Catherine), Nancy Brown (Chris), Bruce Hany (Sab) and Russell Hany; his grandchildren, Leslie Schadler (John), Amber Hany and Brittany Maubach (Alex); his great grandchildren, Jaxen Maubach, Braden Schadler and Josie Maubach; and his brothers, Fred, Clarence, Arther, Loren, Chester and Elmer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darwin's name to The Red Cross, Midwest Food Bank, or ISU's Gamma Phi Circus.
