He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Griffin and Eileen Griffin (Finegan); his sister Debbie Smyth; and his mother-in-law Sandy Burke. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Burke; his daughters, Hannah, Linnea and Clare Griffin; his sisters, Vickie, Teena, Roxy, Cheryl Griffin and Kim Blaine (Doug); his father-in-law Jack Burke; his brothers-in-law, John Smyth and Dave Burke (Kris); and his pet Woody. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heyworth High School Girls Basketball Program, Tri Valley Middle School Girls Basketball Program or Trinity Lutheran School Scholarship Program.
