It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn McGill of Benton, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Spain and Anna Spain (Harold); her son John Pulliam; her siblings, Kenneth Lavern Spain, Paul Eugene Spain, Robert Lee "Butch" Spain and Gladys Louise Spain (Alan Minton) of Christopher; and her pets, Zelda Mae and Foxy.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Edward McGill of Benton; her sons, George Pulliam (Lisa) of Mt. Vernon, KY and Randy Pulliam of Benton; her stepchildren, Bryan McGill (Melinda) of Ewing and Cindy Ward (Darren) of New Berlin, IL; her grandchildren, Misty Sullivan, Nora Pulliam, John Pulliam (Kaitlynn), Jacob Norris, Murphy Ward, Lenox Ward and Rogan Ward; and her siblings, Helen (George "Itchy" Davis) of Benton, Linda Taylor of Junction, IL and Charles Spain of Benton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
