It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allan Devitt of Bensenville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Diamond. He is survived by: his brother Daniel; his sister-in-law Ruth; and his nieces and nephews, Caitlin Devitt, Virginia Diamond (Neeraj), Mary Stirewalt, Daniel Devitt, James A. Diamond and Kevin Platt.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a memorial service will be held in the spring at the Bensenville Community Public Library in Bensenville, IL.
