In the vast expanse of eternity, Wayne Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wayne Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Helen Graves and Glenn Wayne Walker; and his sister Glenda Cruikshank. He is survived by: his daughter Kay Michelle (Jeff) of Bentonville, AR; his wife Elizabeth Jean Walker; his daughter Beth Roussel (Dallas) of Belleville, IL; and his siblings, Glenn Wayne Walker Jr. and Mardel Cheatham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Edgemont Bible Church food pantry in Fairview Heights, IL, or the American Legion Post #1937 in Belleville, IL.
