Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Zeglin of Belleville, Illinois, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away at the age of 58, on February 25, 2025. She was predeceased by: her sister Lynne; her stepfather Richard Hechenberger; and her stepbrother Timothy Hechenberger. She is survived by: her brother-in-law James Schweiger; her aunts and uncles, Mary Barteau (Joseph), Michael Molnar, Mary Ann Swope, Nancy Rueter (Steve) and Steve Hechenberger (Debbie); her great-aunt Loyce Williams; her nieces and nephews, Kelsea Ramsey (Benjamin), Jake Schweiger (Danielle), Isaiah Hechenberger, Shenandoah Hechenberger and Benjamin Hechenberger; her cousins, Danielle Steigerwald (Paul), Thomas Barteau (Haley), Ann Radil (David), Jason Swope, Nicole Hughes, Stephanie Francis, Tara Rueter, Thad Rueter, Brandon Molnar (Stephanie), Matthew Molnar, Zachary Molnar (Rhonda) and Nathaniel Molnar (Nicole); and also, Kenzlee and Kadan Ramsey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church (5315 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Hospice.
