He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jones and Lorene Jones (Hart); his grandson Jonathon A. Heiple; and his sisters, Patsy Hays and Debbie Mitchell.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy S. Jones (Belleville Il), Ernie Jones (Debbie), Marie C. Perkey (Roger) of Tamaroa and Anna M. Jones; his grandchildren, Chayne Peery (Kelly), Chalis Hall (Jon), Brianna Peery, Kayla Harrison (Cameron), Rashell Wenos (Collin), Brent Jones (Kayla McCauley), Josh Rasch (Debrah), Jamie Underwood (Jeremy), Brandon Rasch, Tyler Heiple and Roger Perkey III (Rachel); and his siblings, Phyllis K Schleicher, Susan Boismenue (Keith) and Michael F. Jones (Mel). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
