Sponenburg of Beach Park, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sponenburg and Helen Sponenburg; and his siblings, John, Robert Sponenburg and Kathleen Christenson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Sponenburg; his children, Don Sponenburg (Nancy) and Debbie Kreye; his grandchildren, Joe Sponenburg (Cammie), Dan Sponenburg (Amanda), Sarah Fincher (Drew), Amy Denikas (Jason) and Jennifer Nadelhoffer (Nate); his great grandchildren, Emma, Miley, Sydney, Nolan and Lucas; and his sisters, Helen Mazlo and Lois Dalziel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations to the National Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
