He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex McMorris and Jesse Ione McMorris Sr. (Samuels); his sister Sandra Fernstrom; and his grandson Camron Passie. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Passie-Wooden (Steve) of Bartonville and Rex McMorris III (Jolyn) of East Peoria; and his grandchildren, Cole Passie of East Peoria and Gabriele McMorris of East Peoria.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rex's name to Shriners Hospital for Children.
